[Cab would've been more expensive though, which is why they tried this in the first place. Yu is glad that Yosuke didn't get so hopelessly lost to never find his way back.

At the sound of his name, Yu jumps and frantically looks around. The familiar mop of orange hair in the throng of people in black business suits- it was a beautiful sight for sore eyes.]

Yosuke! [In hurried steps, he walks over to him, a wide smile on his face.] Are you alright?

[His own grin is as wide as Yu probably remembers, though it also speaks of embarrassment.]

Well, I didn't roll in any trashcans or fall into any Tv's, so I guess my luck is improving?

You did get lost, but I guess that's just your karma.

[Yu teases lightly but there's no malice behind it. It feels like an eternity passed ever since he helped Yosuke out of his trashcan predicament. That was certainly a memorable way to meet someone.]

Ready to go?

I said improving, not fixed.

[He speaks quietly on his next words, as if the person he's speaking of is nearby and could hear]

Just don't tell Chie I said that, ok? I'd never live it down.

[And then he's back to his normal level of speech, stuffing his hands into his pockets]

Definitely ready! Where to first?

[Yu chuckles and makes a cross across his chest-]

I swear, no word will leave me.

[Once they are on the street he looks around. Where can they go first? Well- the first thing that Yosuke did when Yu came to Inaba was to treat him food so...]

First, we will get something to eat. My treat. Are you feeling up for something sweet or savory?

Savory, definitely!

[He grins, obviously excited at the idea!]

Then let me show you the place that sells the best kebabs in Tokyo.

[He smiles back. Meat is always the way to start off the day. They head towards the train station, Yu's hands in his pockets.]

So, how's Inaba? Anything new?

[justrollingalong]

New? In Inaba? Did you hit your head and forget since you left?

[The last is obviously a joke, since there's no way the guy who had the whole town going on about "New student! Everyone knows before you even came" until the murders began could forget.]

[Yu laughs- yes, okay, Yosuke is probably right. With things settled down, Inaba should be its old, slow self. Not that that's bad.]

I suppose you're right. Have you seen Nanako and Dojima? I hope they are doing alright.

Yeah. Nanako's got pretty tall in just a short time. Your Uncle... [He just sort of shrugs with an indication of 'what do you expect?'] He's his usual self. Work, work, work.

I see. Good to hear that they are doing well.

[They arrive at the train station and board the train to take them to the busy, shopping district. The amount of people is staggering, but it is nothing unusual. A lot of shops, food places and hang out spots are open and Yu ponders where they should go.]

What is your opinion on okonomiyaki?

Don't you ask Nanako when you call, though? Or have you been forgetting to?

[He's just as aware as Yu that the kid is lonely, and like everyone else in the group, he tries to swing by sometimes to hang out so she isn't always lonely; even if her old man has been better since everything happened.

But all that doesn't matter as he grins at the suggestion.]

Sounds good to me! I mean, noodles are great and all, but it's nice to get something different! That doesn't come from Junes.
